Graduation ceremonies set for DCPS seniors

Commencement ceremonies for D.C. public high school graduates are scheduled to be held from June 4-9. At presstime, the following information was available about the schedule for graduating seniors to receive their diplomas, with speakers noted where confirmed:

•Anacostia – June 4 at 3 p.m. in Howard University's Crampton Auditorium.

•Ballou – June 5 at 10 a.m. in Howard University's Crampton Auditorium.

•Ballou STAY – June 7 at 7 p.m. in McKinley Technology High School's auditorium.

•Banneker – June 5 at 4 p.m. in Howard University's Crampton Auditorium.

•Bell Multicultural – June 7 at 6 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

•Cardozo – June 6 at 10 a.m. in Howard University's Crampton Auditorium.

•Coolidge – June 6 at 4 p.m. in McKinley Technology High School's auditorium.

•Dunbar – June 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the JW Marriott hotel on 14th Street NW.

•Eastern – June 7 at 10 a.m. at Galluadet University.

•Ellington School of the Arts – June 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ellington Theater.

•Luke C. Moore Academy – June 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Kelly Miller Middle School, featuring student speaker Katrina Davin.

•Roosevelt – June 8 at 2:30 p.m. in Howard University's Crampton Auditorium.

•Roosevelt STAY – June 2 at 6 p.m. in the Lincoln Theater.

•School Without Walls – June 7 at 10 a.m. at George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium.

•Spingarn – June 7 at 10 a.m. at the University of the District of Columbia, featuring speaker Delano Hunter.

•Spingarn STAY – June 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Galluadet University.

•M.M. Washington – June 5 at noon at Gallaudet University's Kellogg Center.

•Wilson – June 5 at 10 a.m. in American University's Bender Arena.

•Woodson – June 8 at 5 p.m. at McKinley Technology High's auditorium, featuring D.C. City Council Chairman Linda Cropp as speaker.
