The mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Action will sponsor its third "Citizen Summit" Nov. 1 at the Washington Convention Center. The all-day session, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held in Exhibit Hall A at the center at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW, adjacent to the Mount Vernon Square Metro station.

Residents may register to attend the summit by calling (202) 727-0882 or by visiting www.citizensummit.dc.gov and signing up online. Registration forms, distributed by mail or at various locations around town, also may be faxed to (202) 724-7704.

Translators for non-English speakers and sign-language interpreters for the hearing impaired will be available at the session.
